Never have I ever been to a birthday party that was so nice!

I opened the doors to the Whitestone event hall and immediately felt under-dressed, even after spending that morning reflecting on an important lesson from Gilmore Girls: One must not interfere with the integrity of the event.

So it's a good thing that wedding and event photographers are masters of fading into the background! And of course, not being in the photos themselves in their garnet dress in a sea of purple...

I was SO impressed with the beautiful decorations and attention to detail put into this special celebration for Joely's sixteenth birthday. Complete with grand entrances, different ceremonies and a poppin' dance floor, this event photographer felt lucky to witness the love and joy from this close community of friends and family with whom Joely has surrounded herself.
